Dolyna is a town in Ukraine. In means "valley" in English.
From where are you from? Is it traditional name in your country?

Actually banners are for site promotion. We don't earn much money on showing banners, but we can promote Dolyna.net using some banner networks. Promotion of Dolyna.net didn't start yet.
As for lack of money for site maintence - the problem is solved I will tell you later how

I have just seen your forum thanks to the intermйdiraire of a young ukrainienne.ma grandmother was area of Dolyna, she was born in WELDZIZR. Now : SHEVCHENKOVO, (SHEVCHENKOVE), ШЕВЧЕНКОВО.

I am not sure that there is any information on Shevchenkovo in Web... There are some ukrainian books which mention Shevchenkovo, and that is all I think...
May be some of our visitors will help you more.
Also, may be you want some specific info on Shevchenkovo? Just give us questions and we'll try to answer them.
I can give you information on how to get to Shevchenkovo village if you want to travel to your grandmother's birthplace.
